Dog Agility Wing Cup

Dog Agility Wing Cup

Designed to support the bar on a dog agility jump. I've included the OpenSCAD file so it can be customised - if you have wooden wings you can comment out the cross module and just print the cup and backing plate, I've included screw holes in the plate. For the normal plastic wings and others with adjustable holes, the cross is a good snug fit, reducing the chance of it falling out in transit. The .scad file has all the parameters at the top of the file so should allow easy customisation if your bars or the wing cutouts are a different size. The photo shows the cup above the original cup that was supplied with the wing. Print Settings Printer: Gee tech Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: It's not the simplest object to print but I print it with the cross on the bed so the plate is horizontal and the cup vertical. I use supports from the bed with large x/y clearance and use lines rather than grid to ease removal of the supports. You need to use a minimum wall thickness of 1.2 when you print this, at least for PLA, ABS maybe can be a bit thinner as it's less brittle. I printed a couple in PLA with 0.8 wall thickness and one of them broke when a bar dropped on it from a couple of feet higher.
