Doll Bed

Doll Bed

At Christmas time a friend came to me with a problem. She had ordered two doll beds from someone on ETSY and the day before Christmas, was informed that she wouldn't be receiving them. She needed two doll beds of a certain size to complete the gift she was making for her two kids. She wanted me to help her make them out of wood. I suggested we print them and this bed was born. It is simple, easy to print and was the perfect size for her gift. I hope it helps someone else. I oriented the .STL in the best orientation for printing. If you print it legs down, its hard to not get lifting in one of the legs. Printing it this way significantly reduces the amount of support material needed and reduces lifting risk to zero (at least in my case). Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 300 micron (coarse) Infill: 20% Notes: Set your slicing software to FILL EVERY WHERE, otherwise you will get sagging on the upper rail. Other settings are your preference.
