The first version of the dome was laser-cut from a 20x30cm, 4mm MDF sheet at Maakcafe.nl's laser cutting facility. To assemble it, secure the pieces together using iron wire; there are six joints with five ends on top and five joints with four ends on the bottom. You also get an extra spoke as a spare.
