Our method of design was based upon successive trials, each beingstudied thru CFD simulations, FEA simulations and compared to applicable literature, serving as basis to iterate a new design again and again, until a streamlined and feasible RoRo single hull cargo ship is achieved. We run several studies in order optimize the design, which culminate in an intelligent model, capable of delivering results much better than spected for a ship of the same size.Dominant's design focused in fuel efficiency and space optimization, in order to reduce costs during ship operation.Some of the renderings, have trucks loaded within the ship to display cargo capacity.Engineers: Fabio Freitas – CAD specialistPedro Henrique – FEA / Mechanical design Wellington Pires – Materials specialist
