Donkey Kong (1981) level - with magnets !

myminifactory

For a video-game themed exhibition we reproduced a level of the Donkey Kong game from 1981.   Most of the level pieces (ladders / plateforms) are meant to be glued on a magnetic panel.  Other pieces have a round hole in the back, in which you can put a 10x3mm round magnet. This way you can put every character as you'd like, kids are loving it ! Each STL has to be printed once except : -double_barrel that goes in the top, to be printed twice - flames and rolling_barrel : you can print as many as you wish ! Then use the picture, on a screenshot of the game, to know how to properly assemble. Pro Tip : Jumpman / Lady / Flames / Donkey Kong are designed so that if you pause the print at the right time and change filament, you can achieve a nice multicolor print even with a single head printer. For the magnetic plate, we used a 30*30cm one that we've found for around 10€ in a office material shop near us. It looks nicer with a black one of course. Have fun !
