MOOOO!!! "Half unfeeling machine, half raging horned devil. This walking nightmare has a rocket launcher for an arm and will definitely reach out and touch you." I haven't heard nothing about Doom here in Thingiverse, but there has to be someone who faced this thing at least once! Where are all the Doom fans? This was my first attempt on making something with Sculptris, and at cutting abstract geometries to make them printable, so this is the result. It was modelled in Sculptris, looking at the game sprites; posed, corrected, and cut in Blender, and repaired with NetFabb Basic. Then it was painted by a friend of mine, with miniature paints. This is a High Poly model, so if Slic3r takes 5 minutes to slice it don't worry. By the time being, it doesn't stand on its feet, unless you put a piece of paper on its left hoof. My plan is to make a pedestal specially designed for it, with a "Cyberdemon" hellish sign being displayed. The blender file with armature for posing is not provided by now because it is 150MB big, and I don't know if the server can bear it. Instructions You have several options, depending on what you want. I recommend to check your gcodes, and if needed, repair with NetFabb or others. There may be distortions on the Gcode (I had duplicated layers sometimes, I think it's fixed but, who knows?) And for 0.5mm nozzle users, I recommend to scale it a bit up, or you may be unable to print the hand. It is so small compared to the whole model. The basic option is taking the sliced parts, print them out with no support material, and glue them together. They are 15 files. I haven't checked, but I think all parts fit in a 10x10 mm bed, so the printing is somewhat easy. Another option is to take the cyberdemon.stl and print it out with support material, if you feel like. And the last option is to take the Cyberdemon.sc1 and derivate it, by modifying it in sculptris. Please note that chest was corrected AFTER exporting it on sculptris so the sculpt may feature a less muscular chest.
