Door Guard

Door Guard

Notes taped to the door did little to stop students from entering the lab when exposing film in the lab. The door guard was created to be an obvious indicator. The students can no longer claim, " I didn't see the note on the door". The door guard is placed over the door knob to prevent accidental entry into a laboratory. I have also created a second version that I hang on my office door when I am in a video conference or teaching online. The front plates are printed separately from the body to aid in changing the color for the red body and white lettering. I pause the printer when the first layer of the lettering is being printed. Slots on the door guard work with knob and lever style door knobs (levers?)
