Door Handle & Plate

Mainly just to see if I could, I designed this replica door handle and plate to match the ones in my house. The handles print fine without supports, the plates will need support. VERSION 1 - "Traditional" Files: Door_Handle.slt and Door_Handle_Plate.slt I designed this as a reasonable representation of the original handle and plate. When I went to fit it I realised that it`s fine if you have the older style connection rod with the tapped holes to screw the handle to but it doesn`t work with the more modern door gear. So I came up with VERSION 2 below. The handle has a screw hole and countersink, but you can`t see it on the picture. The handles are connected via an 8mm square section rod with threaded holes. VERSION 2 - "Modern" Files: Door_Handle_v2.1.stl and Door_Handle_Plate_v3.1.stl This version works with the more modern connecting rod. Screw the threaded section into the handle to fix the plate before attatching to the door. Use the connecting rod to ensure the square sections in the threaded part and the handle are aligned as this stops the handle uncrewing once fitted. The plate screws can be a little difficult to drive home as the handle gets in the way, but it is possible. As of 15 Oct 2021 I have had this version in use in my house on a door that is used multiple times every day and so far no issues.
