Door Hinge with Sliding Feature

Did you ever wish that a doorway was 1-2cm wider so that you could move a piece of furniture? Narrow doorways can also be an issue for people in wheelchairs and there are special offset hinges for this need. There are also sliding hinges for office cabinets, but they usually require long slides because the cabinet door needs to be completely recessed. The proposed hinge installs and functions similarly to a normal door hinge, but can slide open for more clearance when needed. Ridges (see blue hinge) allow the hinge pin to click into two positions. There is also a lock (red) that keeps the hinge from sliding when the door is closed.
