Door or fence latch for Porch, screen door, barn etc..

This is an entirely 3d printed latch system for doors, primarily meant to be used for porch, fence or screen doors where an exterior fence or wall is available to attach this to. Simply screw it onto said wall/fence post at the correct height to allow the door to flip the latch (as shown in pictures) and let it do its job. To release it you can use your shoe to flip the hook flat. Note: I spent a lot of time getting a 3d printed spring to print and work reliability in ABS but you may want to consider a metal spring if you don't have ABS/Nylon or possibly PETG available. Printed in Hatchbox ABS (230c/100c bed) with some Elmers purple school glue to hold the small parts down to the bed while printing. I printed the spring at 250c to give it a little more layer adhesion/strength. The spring should also be printed by itself so each layer doesn't have time to cool before the next is applied. Most parts can be printed in PLA+/PETG but the spring should be at least ABS or Nylon or maybe PETG in a pinch since PLA isn't flexible. Printed on a Prusa mk3s No supports required, not even the spring.
