I was scheduled to have bilateral carpal tunnel surgery and wanted to have lever style doorknobs, so I created these levers to fit the doorknobs that are in my house. My surgery was successfully performed on 10/22/15 and the levers were really helpful during the first few days of my recovery. The 47mm lever has a slight taper to fit a "tulip" style knob. The 51mm lever has a more square profile to fit a flat style knob. See the pictures of my knobs for clarification. The levers have a small lip on the inner edge of the hole to help keep the lever properly positioned on the knob, place the lever on the knob with the small lip out. UPDATE - I just updated the levers to allow the screw to be on the top of the handle when installed on left-hinge doors - not upside-down like in my pictures. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .25 or .30 Infill: 25% Post-Printing I used a 1" long #8 x 32 machine screw (link to screws), washer and nut to clamp the lever to the knob. The nut is held in place by the hex-hole, so you can install the levers using only a screwdriver. No tape or adhesive was necessary on my knobs, you may need some on yours if the levers don't tighten securely. Be sure to place the lever on the knob properly, with the hole lip facing away from the door. The levers may be placed in any position on the knob that works best for the intended user, pointing up, down, towards the hinges, or on the inside of the door, pointing away from the hinges. How I Designed This I designed these levers in Tinkercad.
