Victory point chips for the following games: - [Race for the Galaxy](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/28143/race-galaxy) - [Roll for the Galaxy](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/132531/roll-galaxy) - [New Frontiers](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/255692/new-frontiers) - [Jump Drive](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/205597/jump-drive). These VP chips are double-sided and can be printed using a single extruder printer by changing the filament twice during the print. First I designed them with numbers in the center of each chip, but then decided maybe they would look better closer to the design of the original game component. In the end I liked the chips without text better because there are more imperfections in the printed numbers, but I have provided both models here. ### Quantities As a reference for the number of chips you will need, here are the original quantities from the games: | **Game** | **10's** | **5's** | **1's** | |-----------------------|----------|---------|---------| | Race for the Galaxy | 4 | 6 | 18 | | 4 Race Expansions | 3 | 5 | 3 | | Roll for the Galaxy | 5 | 8 | 20 | | New Frontiers | 8 | 7 | 25 | | Jump Drive | 20 | 12 | 52 | | Total | 40 | 38 | 118 | ### Dual Color Printing In order to print these chips in multiple colors I used Cura with the *Filament Change* post processing script: - In the Cura main menu, select *Extensions*, then *Post Processing*, then *Modify G-Code*. - Click *Add a script* and select *Filament Change* - Assuming that you are printing with a layer height of 0.2 mm, enter *6,11* in the *Layer* field. - Close the dialog. - After slicing the model, be sure to use the *Preview* feature to confirm that the correct layers were entered in the post processing script. *Tip*: if you change the *Color scheme* in Cura to *Line Type* it is easier to see when the appropriate layer transitions occur.
