Few weeks ago I get my hand on several defective laptop. Their slim DVD drive was still working and I decide to add 1 or 2 on my desktop PC. I find a great design from whiterabbit06 to adapt a slim optical drive into a 5,25" slot. But, with this design, I need two 5,25" slot if I want to add 2 drive. So, I just modify his original design to be able to put 2 slim drive into one 5,25" slot. I also add some hole to secure the slim drive in the adapter. Don't forget to give him all the credit he deserve for his initial great design.
