With cura I advice oneto observe carefully layers around the support in order to check if all is ok. There are some few artefacts but supports must NOT block the flex structure. Edit : I spend 2 hours for this model from the orginal one. And now I can see that in fact, the author had already made one (larger).... Edit : I've splitted one of the two wings for better result and no support at all. Not printed also, but I don't see why it would fail. Glue them together with acetone if you print this with ABS.
