### **DoubleBlow** Silent Ender 3 hotend extruder cooler V0.4 * Designed to be versatile and the most silent possible * Modular design * Compatible with some direct drive * * Require 2 DC DC Buck to reduce the 2 fans speed * Reduce default speed of part cooler to reduce the noise ### Requirements * 1-2 pcs: DC DC buck (Ex: LM2596, MP1584) (see Notes) * 5 pcs: M3 x 8 screw (2 for BL-Touch, 3 for cooler) * 2 pcs: Blower fan 5015 (50x50x15mm) * 4 pcs: standard fan screw (optional if you use the plastic pin) * 20-24 AWG 2-wire cable (for extending the Fan cables) * Soldering kit ### Notes * Some blower are noisy with the PWM control of the board. I use the second DC-DC to control the part cooler fan to reduce the PWM noise. * The plastic pin that are designed to replace the Fan screw could break your fan. I'm going to make a change soon. ### How to * Simply print like the picture suggest * The simpliest way to change the fans is to cut the old fan cable and solder the new * To install the DC-DC: * you can cut the cable in the electronic box, and solder the two DC-DC there. * you can extend the cable of the fans to install the two DC-DC outside somewere else. ### Why should I reduce the fan speed ? * Blower fan are better suitable for resistive air application.
