A high-quality, almost scale polygonal model of the Douglas DC-6 aircraft is available, with all textures and materials included and UVW mapped in various formats. The model features animateable landing gear, landing gear doors, ailerons, elevators, rudder, and flaps, while propellers are also animated. This versatile plane has been utilized for cargo, military, and wildfire control purposes, with over 700 built and many still in operation today. Initially designed as a military transport during World War II, it transitioned to the commercial long-range market post-war. In US Air Force service, it was known as the C-118 Liftmaster, while in the United States Navy, prior to 1962, it was designated as the R6D, with all variants later given the C-118 designation.
