A highly precise polygonal model, almost at scale, is crafted for an accurate representation of the original object, including textures and materials with UVW mapping in most formats. It features animateable landing gear, landing gear doors, ailerons, elevators, rudder, and flaps, as well as animated propellers. The model comes in multiple formats and airline liveries. The Douglas DC-6 is a piston-powered airliner and transport aircraft produced by the Douglas Aircraft Company from 1946 to 1958. Initially designed for military transport during World War II, it was later adapted for long-range commercial transportation. Over 700 were built, with many still in use today for cargo, military, and wildfire control operations. In the United States Air Force, it was known as the C-118 Liftmaster, while in the U.S. Navy (until 1962), it was designated the R6D, after which it also received the C-118 designation.
