Dowel Lamp with low poly shade!

This is a sleek modern lamp that utilizes a light socket from IKEA, paired with some sturdy 3/8-inch dowels made of wood. The lamp shade was meticulously modeled in Fusion and then refined in Meshmixer to achieve a low-poly appearance. The shade was printed using vase mode (spiralized outer contours) and measures 140mm in both diameter and height, making it compatible with most build plates. Notably, this lamp is designed specifically for LED bulbs only, as conventional bulbs would generate excessive heat that could potentially damage the shade. To ensure safe operation, please verify that your bulb does not reach a temperature that could cause the shade to melt. The light socket featured in the video and images is an IKEA "hemma", but the more aesthetically pleasing "sekond" braided cordset should also fit comfortably. Enjoy your new lamp!
