Dowels for use with model ships

Human: 4 and 6mm dowels for use in model ships from the Lost Islands Kickstarter campaign are available. They come in flat and upright designs, each piece measuring 50mm long. Print as many as needed, then glue and cut to desired length. Flat dowels look more like wood but can be tricky to assemble. Upright dowels require a skirt or brim and need hole cleaning with a hobby drill (1.5mm bit for 4mm rod, 2mm bit for 6mm rod), taking about 50% longer to print. I chose upright dowels for my model despite flat ones looking better.
