This is a 3d printed case for Ross Porter's amazing project, DQ Music Box https://hackaday.io/project/26096-dementia-friendly-music-player/discussion-93179 New link: I think the github isn't online.... https://dqmusicbox.com/ https://github.com/rosswesleyporter/dqmusicbox/blob/master/README.pdf Designed to fit Altec Lansing BXR1220 2-Piece Desktop Speaker System bought online for $15 Box was created in https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1264391 Note: the two round holes in the back are for audo.... the cable from the speaker goes out then plugs back into the Rasbperry pi. It seemed an easy option to use headphones or speakers without any wiring. Design note: It's hard to get the USB stick out... but you rarely have to. If you want to be able to remove it easily you can reorient the Pi to do so, add extensions for audo and power so that you can still run cables out the back. Just the same, you could get a USB extension and leave it be. Tech note if you should build the project. I used a Raspberry Pi B V2 and had an issue with it stalling on the some 800 files I had loaded. I converted them to MP3's and changed the filenames from long strings down to about 10 character strings and it seems to have corrected the issue. It was probably the filenames... but I may never know as I'm delivering the project to Mom.
