DR-Z 400 Fender Eliminator

This is a cheap makers alternative to the handful of fender eliminator kits available for the DR-Z 400 e/s/sm. The bracket is designed to fit a cheap generic Chinese 16 LED motorcycle tail light with integrated turn signals widely available on Ebay - I paid $11.43 for the light including tax and shipping. Just search for it, you wont miss it. I designed the bracket as a direct fit to the factory tapped holes on the rear of the sub-frame and the supplied hardware on the light (as seen in pics). I also removed the factory connectors from the stock lighting and soldered them onto the aftermarket tail light making a plug and play light. Note that the factory wiring has a ground wire running to each turn signal and the tail lamp. You only need to use one of these grounds to ground the aftermarket tail light - the rest simply leave open and insulate. As far as durability goes, this was printed in PETG 100% fill. I bombed down some rough back roads, ran it through some mud, jumped some ditches and pressure sprayed it all down afterwards - it held just fine. There will be more revisions of this to come that handle the stress of cyclical loading even better, but this seems to work as is. Enjoy! Update: Bracket finally broke at around 1,100 miles of use. It withstood intermediate and expert rated trails in a state ran OHV park for several hours before finally giving way around the fasteners which hold it too the subframe. By using washers under these fasteners the load could be better dispersed and increase the lifespan of this bracket.
