Dragon Egg - Craggy

<p>A craggy, bumpy, earthy Dragon Egg. Not a typical Game of Thrones style egg, but might be useful as a prop or for tabletop gaming. I may have overdone the craggy bumps - it does look a little like a raised-relief globe. ;)</p> <p>Part of a series of Dragon Eggs that I'll be continuing soon.</p> <h3> Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Notes:</strong></p> <p>I printed this at about 140mm tall, .2mm, with no infill. Might want to use 5% infill or similar just to get a little more support on the top of the shape. This is a solid shape, Resin printers will probably need to make it hollow.</p> <p>There is a small flat spot on the bottom of the egg to help it stick. I had good luck with Cura's Tree Supports. Any roughness from the supports you can just pretend it's part o the craggy design. :)</p> <h3> How I Designed This</h3> <p>Designed in ZBrush using the Surface Noise function.</p> Category: Props
