Dragon Feet for TVs

Dragon Feet for TVs

I recently moved a TV from one room to another. It used to hang on the wall, but now needs to stand on a table. The problem was that we couldn't find the original feet. My wife asked, "Could you print feet?" I said "Sure, what should they look like?" She said, "Dragon feet." I said, "Let's do this." After searching for some appropriate feet to repurpose, I found the Bahamut model. It had nice chonky feet with vertical-enough ankles to not fall over. Excellent. I chopped them off at the ankles, put holes through them the correct distance apart for our TV's bolts, and there we have it. A TV with dragon feet. I printed them in a lovely marble filament, and my wife painted the nails with the "sluttiest" red nail polish she could find at the dollar store. Now this TV makes us smile even when it's not turned on. Of course, the odds that these will be an exact fit for *your* TV are kind of low, but you can always scale these up or down in various dimensions to make them fit.
