Drawer / Cabinet Pull Handle

Drawer / Cabinet Pull Handle

This is a simple drawer pull handle, but it is designed to be mounted in the same manner as power strips and other devices where the unit pushes onto a screw and then slides over (or down) to lock it into place. This is sized for use with standard wood screws. A good trick for lining the screws up is to lay a sheet of paper over the base of the handle, and using the side of a pencil, rub the entire area of the paper covering the handle - similar to the way you would make a tombstone rubbing. This will leave the imprint of the mounting holes on the paper. You can then use that as a template to mount the two screws so that each one lines up with the smaller end of the opening. If you line the screws up with the larger end instead, when you mount the handle and slide it in to place, it will be over about an inch or so from where you actually wanted it. Don't thread the screws all the way in, obviously. You will have to find the proper depth by trial and error. Snug each screw down slightly, test fitting the handle each time. You want the handle to slide into place, but not so easily that it will just slide right back off.
