Drawer Handle Pull

Drawer Handle Pull

After the pandemic started and I began WFH, I bought a cheap desk. The drawers did not come with any handles or knobs! You're supposed to grab it from the side, which I found kind of annoying. Naturally, I solved this issue with 3D printing. I never thought to share this design since it's fairly basic but I figured the Cabinet Knobs contest would be a good excuse to do so.

Print these on their side, they should come into your slicer in the correct orientation. I printed mine in PLA and they are working fine, but PETG would be fine as well. Initially I tried printing these in a brassFill PLA from ColorFabb but they were far too weak and would split when I started to screw into them.

The holes are sized for a #8 wood screw but it should work with a M4 screw as well since they are a similar size.

The handle jig is to assist in drilling 1/8" (3mm) pilot holes. Then move up to a larger bit with proper clearance for your screw size, an 11/64" or 4.5mm should work.
