Drawer Rail Support

Drawer Rail Support

thingiverse

I designed a kitchen drawer slider support to replace the one that kept shattering in my old house from the seventies. I created it using OpenSCAD and it works perfectly as a replacement. My rails measure 24.5mm x 11.9mm, but you can adjust them if needed by editing the .scad file included with this project. The design is set up to attach with four #6 wood screws, and the screw holes are countersunk to match that size. I printed the support without any rafts or supports using my LulzBot Mini printer with a resolution of 0.36 layers and 20% infill. I used 1.5mm shells and ABS plastic, which did not warp during printing. The result looks great and might even look better if you use PLA instead.
