Nema17 engines Bearings Rods (I used very thin aluminium ones from Silvan) Linear bearings (same size as the Rod) And some way of controller the steppers. I use a 'CNC-shield' on top of an Arduino Uno running the latest and greatest software from https://github.com/grbl/grbl. I send gcode using 'Universal G-code Sender' which is written in Java and run on all platforms. https://github.com/winder/Universal-G-Code-Sender I have made a small 'CAM' program in Grasshopper that can convert curves into ARC movements in g-code.
