The cargo configuration of Sierra Space's (formerly Sierra Nevada Corporation) Dream Chaser spaceplane, coupled with their Shooting Star service module/expendable cargo module. This configuration is also referred to as DC100 (200 is crew, 300 features an opening payload bay for unpressurized up/down cargo), and is also used for non-logistics missions such as DC4Science and DC4EU (both are free-flying scientific missions). Dream Chaser began development for NASA's Commercial Crew program, but after losing the downselect for that contract, work was refocused on a cargo variant for the Commercial Resupply Services program. This cargo variant adds folding wings to fit in a standard EELV 5 meter payload envelope, and the expendable Shooting Star module to increase payload capacity and provide power and thermal control for longer duration free-flying missions. Initial missions to the International Space Station will berth using a Common Berthing Mechanism, later missions will autonomously dock using a NASA Docking Adapter
