These glasses have been designed to be low cost, durable, and easily printed on the Makerbot Replicator 2. They have been successfully printed on the Makerbot without the use of support material and assembled without using any external components. Key Features: - Stylish design - Built in nose pads ensure that these glasses can be worn comfortably - Robust hinge design that will hold up during every day use - Hinge is assembled using the same filament that the glasses are printed from, so no external components are required - Parts lay flat on the build platform, making printing a breeze Fast, easy assembly that requires no glue or other adhesives Assembly Instructions: - First, cut 2 pieces of filament to about 15mm long - Next, using a butane lighter, slightly melt one end of each piece (being careful not to let the filament catch fire) - Once the tip of the filament has begun to melt, press lightly against a hard surface (this will cause the end to mushroom out) - Now, assemble one side of the glasses by placing this filament through the holes (this may require you to ream the holes by hand using a small drill bit) - Finally, heat the protruding end until it begins to melt and press firmly against a hard surface - Repeat for other side
