Dremel Door Hinge Jig

Dremel Door Hinge Jig

I created this simple jig to be used as a guide when making cut-outs for hinges when installing interior and exterior doors. The jig is held in place when cutting with a couple of pieces of painters tape (see the blue tape in the photo). Use a 3mm router bit in the chuck of the dremel. Parts are printed from PLA at 0.2mm resolution with 20% fill at 60mm/sec. You will need to print one copy of jig1 and two copies of jig2. #4 x 1/2" bolts and nuts can be used to hold the jig together.
