Dremel Drill Stand Addon

Dremel Drill Stand Addon

I bought a dremel drill stand a while ago to use to drill the tiny little holes in the PCBs that I made, but as anyone with one of them knows, there's no light on it, so it's hard to see where your drilling without pushing a lamp or something next to it. After a while of the lamp not being in the right place to see, or it falling over, I designed this and printed it out. It slips right over the back rod of the drill stand and is slightly larger than the rod/tube so it can be slid over the couplings, so just screw a large bolt into it and it'll stay attached. I know it looks like the green lantern ring symbol :P But just print it out, drill a big hole in the front of it where the bar up and down is, and put a bolt in there, drill it slightly smaller than the large bolt so it grabs the threads with the plastic really well, and on the sides, just drill out the holes needed to put whatever you want on it. I put a 4 AA battery pack on one side, and a 5v regulator attached to a usb port that I made ages ago, but didnt have a use for, and had this usb keyboard light for seeing the keyboard in the dark I think, but never used it. The usb light has one of the bendable necks on it and is fairly long, so you can move it wherever you wanted.
