Dremel Idea Builder Spool Holder (Taller)

This is a near exact model of the Dremel Idea Builder spool holder. I made it larger so that Hatchbox and other filaments can be used effectively, even as that last bit of filament gets used. (Even though some spools (Hatchbox) fit into the guides at the bottom of the printer without being locked into the spool holder, the spools tend to tweak and get jammed into the Z-platform as they get lighter. This model is designed to address that problem) This holder will lock and work with the original spool rod, or you can print another rod from the files that I uploaded. Instructions Print with supports with the model in a vertical fashion. Make sure to sand the interior cylinder so that the rod fits better, and the spool rolls more efficiently. When removing the original spool holder, be aware that the nuts that hold the M2.5 screws will fall into the interior of the machine. I have gotten away with simply screwing the new holder back into the holes located at the bottom of the printer. The screw holes and fitment holes on the bottom of the model are designed for extremely tight tolerances, and will probably need slight re-drilling to suit your needs.
