<p>This lets you connect a <a href="http://www.festoolusa.com/power-tools/HEPA-dust-extractors/">Festool dust extractor/vacuum</a> to the dust extractor port of the <a href="http://www.dremel.com/en-us/tools/pages/ToolDetail.aspx?pid=6800">Dremel Trio</a> tool.</p> <p>The file "vacuum adapter2.stl/blend" is an updated version that's shorter, with a slightly tapered head for a tighter fit on the Dremel side.</p> <h3>Instructions</h3> <p>I modeled this in <a href="http://www.blender.org">Blender</a> 2.69 after working through an excellent <a href="http://www.rab3d.com/tut_blender.php">tutorial for modeling mechanical parts</a> in Blender.</p> <p>I used this digital caliper to measure the dimensions of the Festool hose and Trio dust port.</p> Category: Machine Tools
