The DRG Class 24 was a series of 1'C (2-6-0) steam engines in service in Germany between 1928 until 1972. Nicknamed 'Prairie Horses (Steppenpferd),' they were light, fast passenger engines, which handled branch line service and local express trains in pre-war Germany's Prussian regions. In total, 95 examples of these engines were built. Variants with and without smoke deflectors are included, along with the standard T16 tender. This is a model of a German steam locomotive suitable for wargaming in 15mm scale. It has been designed to be printable on any standard FDM printer, such as the Ender 3. For rails, it is compatible with TT-scale 12mm gauge track, which is the same dimensions used by Battlefront Games' railway scenery. Derivation from any real-world prototype has been done for ease of printing or durability in handling for tabletop wargaming.
