This is a rock tumbler powered by a drill dedicated to smoothing up small parts that require no stair effect. It runs on my variable speed drill but due to some side effects (a woman's disapproval) i couldn't really test it more than 15 minutes. Instructions For this you'll need : 2 4mm aluminium or steel rods, one longer than the other (for the drill) 4 M3x8mm bolts 4 office rubber bands 1 drill with variable speed 1 "support" part 4 "rouleau" parts 3 "agitateur" parts Put a bolt in each side hole on each wheel, than install the rubber bands as you can (i used a 1.5mm allen key to keep them in place and pull them quite hard together to ensure they won't move). Put the wheels on the support, insert the rods and use a 2.5mm allen key to secure them in place by screwing the 3x8mm bolts. Glue with epoxy the "agitateur" parts inside a can. Find some kind of support to ensure the system is aligned with your drill and voilà ! you can now fill your can with medium and try to run your new tumbler. Now you notice that nothing is planned to avoid that can to move and jump out of the support. I know that and that's why it's a work in progress. You can still use something heavy on each side of the can for the moment. Don't forget to give me backup, cause i need to convince my wife the noise it makes is really worth it !
