Heyas, Bought an old Sontax 16 speed drill press, but the height adjustment handle was broken. The handle was in a few pieces, so off it came, and into cad it went. i printed it at an angle so there was layer lines spanning the length of the part in hope of giving it more strength, printing it again, id flip it over, so the vapor smoothing makes the seen surface smooth and shiny, not the back surface. the original had a pressed metal insert, so i pressed it in with my bench vice, and reamed the grub screw hole just a tad to fit proper. The best part is it all fit together well and works, first version too! Although not overly complex I am very proud of myself, this is my 2nd model in fusion 360, ive been using sketchup for quite some time now, and ive wanted to learn fusion and sketchup is not the best. My last project (not on here) was my first fusion model, it is slightly more complex than this and had me confused as to how to use fusion, still getting the hang of it, learning the ropes, but am getting better, and this model is alot cleaner, looking forward to alot more complex models which are functional!
