My floor standing drill press has slots that are sized for a 1/2"-13 bolt, but the cutout on the back side of the slot was 1-1/8" wide. This adapts the Porter Cable floor standing drill press slot to use a 1/2"-13 nut to the wider slot so that you can more easily tighten the nut.
