Thanks firstly to kubino's template at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1817714 I printed the original dual y-motor template and quickly drilled all my holes to mount the stepper motor supports, then I discovered that the belts were not aligned properly. Moving the stepper motor mounts 8mm inward on both sides corrected this issue. I'm confident it will also work for you.
