Drinking Straw Rocket

Drinking Straw Rocket

thingiverse

This 1 gram missile can be placed on the end of a drinking straw and launched, by blowing through the straw, across the room. Inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26571 and paper-wrapped straws everywhere. Warning: Not Intended for young children! Adult supervision suggested. Never point a sharp object at anyone's or anything's face. Ralphie, you'll shoot your eye out!! Instructions Printed on Replicator 2 using MakerWare default "High" resolution settings (i.e., 15% infill, 2 shells, 80mm/s), except with Layer Height of 0.3mm For everything except the nose cone, the number of shells is irrelevant (at least on my software&printer) as it was a single shell for the fins and body. With these settings, the 60mm tall rocket prints in 17 min and weighs 1g.
