Drip Catcher for Mars 2

Drip Catcher for Mars 2

This is a little tool designed to catch drips when you take the build plate off your Mars printer to mount on the 45 degree bracket to drain off more resin. During the actual process of dismounting it and mounting it on the bracket I find there's usually a risk of dripping on the front of the vat or the printer. This mk1 catcher is designed simply to protect the printer and vat during this process (hook it on, do the swap, take it back off). It can also be used to catch drips from a tall model that overhangs the end of the tank when it's on the angle plate. I'll be uploading a mk2 version later that can also be used to top up the tank during printing. Scale length to suit. (I actually printed 50% length as I usually get drips on the right side only) Half length may also help if you have long prints on the build tray that overhang the end of the vat when on the 45 degree bracket. You can either print with it on its end with no supports, or flip it to have the upper plate down with supports for a faster print.
