The laser-cut design showcases an extruder mechanism featuring parts made from 6mm acrylic (left side) and 3mm acrylic (right side, adjustable thickness). This innovative design enables easy filament extraction without the need for cutting. The Bowden extruder is securely attached by inserting a 5mm washer (cut open) around a small PTFE tube incision. This reliable mechanism has proven its effectiveness and functionality over significant distances. A bolt allows adjustment of the distance between an 8mm inner-diameter, 22mm outer-diameter bearing and the drive shaft for optimal performance.
