Drive Nut for Equatorial Platform

Drive Nut for Equatorial Platform

thingiverse

This is a drive nut/coupler for a DIY equatorial platform that uses an M8 threaded rod as a leadscrew. It is also used to trigger the limit switches. The centre height of the screw needs to be 26mm. I designed this for 37 degrees latitude but it should work a few degrees on either side of that. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 60% Notes: ABS is recommended with 3 perimeters. Post-Printing An M8 tap must be used after printing for cutting of the screw thread.
