Drop-down doubled-up kitchen hooks and bracket

This was built at my wife's request (and to her specifications) to hang BBQ implements from the side of a shelf we have in our kitchen. I made two sets, one for each side of the shelf. The unique aspect of this is the double-hook design, which allows for two items to hang off of each of the five hooks, which were designed with a bit of an Easter Island influence. This might also work if mounted over a door. Since everyone's shelves and doors are different sizes, I published the 123D Design file with this item as well. This project is part of my 3D Printing Discovery Series in ZDNet's DIY-IT column and on YouTube. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Notes: I printed this with the hooks facing upwards. That way, I didn't have to clean the supports off of the hooks and they're about as smooth as the printer produces. The disadvantage is that a lot of support material is produced, but it detached quite easily. How I Designed This I started with the test-fit print, a little orange piece to make sure the bracket fit over the top of the shelf. Once I had that measurement and it tested as correct, I then went ahead and designed the rest of the unit based on the spacing and tools my wife requested.
