Due to the increase in the size of the hot materials, the previously used container was no longer suitable for long-term cooling, as the blanket layer no longer covered it properly, and as a result, the cooling time was faster than expected
After several months of thinking, I was able to start the design, as there were a lot of technological and geometrical parameters that had to be met:
I. General Requirements
The container must be equipped with a specific system
The container must be designed for storage of approximately 2000 units
The container must be adaptable to specific storage conditions
II. Handling and Transportation
Containers must be stored on rails
Containers must be able to be moved using a trolley and crane
Containers must be easily accessible during loading and unloading
III. Functional Requirements
The container must have both storage and loading/unloading functions
The container must be able to be quickly closed
The container must be designed for use in high-temperature environments
The container must be resistant to heat stress and thermal shock
The container must be able to be walked around during filling
The container must not require maintenance
The container must be stackable
IV. Safety and Ergonomics
The container design must ensure good ergonomics and prevent finger pinching
The door must not be too heavy
The container must meet work safety requirements
V. Common Requirements
The container design must prioritize simplicity and cost-effectiveness
Where possible, the container component should perform multiple functions
VI. Universal Application
The container design must prioritize universal application, with each container equipped with the same system
Each container must be equipped with the same system
VII. Additional Requirements
The container design must minimize the need for excessive modifications
The container design must ensure compliance with work safety requirements
