I'm getting ready to take my freeride longboard skills to the next level by mastering Long Distance Pumping. To tackle this challenge, I've decided to give my board a major makeover. First things first, I'm converting it from a droptrough design to topmount - a move that will give me more control and stability as I ride. But that's not all - I'm also adding an 11-degree wedge to the mix, which should help me carve up those long distances with ease. This setup change is still untested, but I'm eager to see how it performs in action.
