DrSpool (for the Replicator)
thingiverse
A customizable spool holder for Makerbot Replicator printers uses three M3 sunken head screws (15±5 mm) and nuts. Part A Big is designed for Makerbot filaments with a minimum 52mm diameter, while Part A Small accommodates other types. In version 2, the holes are enlarged. To print, arrange the STL files as desired, orienting them with flat sides on the print bed. Set print parameters to 3 perimeter shells and a 0.25 mm z height. The spool base should have 100% infill, while Part A big and small should have 30% infill. Part B requires 50% infill. Use PLA filament and print with full raft and support. After printing, insert nuts and screw the parts together, being careful not to overtighten Part B as it only serves as a guide.
