Drum Rack T Clamp

Drum Rack T Clamp

This is based on a drum rack clamp from a Roland electronic drum set. The clamp is used to join 2 pieces of 1.5" tubing - should work with any brand of drum rack that uses standard round tubing. The hardware required are 2 drum lug screws 1.5" long and two 12/24 hex nuts. Drum rack tubing can be purchased from a music store, but I've found that 1.25" electrical metal tubing or conduit will work as well. *UPDATE 2/22/2018* I've had a couple of the clamps fail in use so I've modified the design to make it stronger. Uploaded new STL file: Rack T Clamp HD - Increased the wall thickness - Moved the one bolt location closer to the end to reduce stress when clamping down on the pipe My original prints were in PLA with 20% infill. I reprinted one in PETG still with 20% infill and that one failed also. In addition to the model redesign, I'm currently printing a new copy in PETG with 60% infill - hopefully this will now be strong enough.
