Really Wanted to make a 5 inch version of this thing in the 2 piece remix style I did a while back, the lid bolts on with 3mm screws in this version however. The end result actually flies amazingly. I've altered the FC mounting location a bit so the scaled up version could still mount a mini FC, scaled the motor mounts for 3mm screws. I also added some tpu soft mount spacers under the motors to help with any vibration. I used 2205 motors and ran into a small issue where the 5 inch would tap the rear leg because the motor bell itself was too short by about 2 mm... so I ended up slapping some 4 inch 8 blade props from HQ prop to make up for it, tbh I'm really glad I did because this thing is almost silent set up like this and those props actually have more surface area then the 5inch I was going to use. I would suggest using taller motors for 5 inch props like a 2208. I used a Foxeer mini cam that fit perfect in the slot and was able to use the same hole position, I did scale the holes down to 3mm tho. I put a photo of the camera box if anyone wants to get the same one. The video antenna was the only one I had on hand atm and will be replaced later as it looks kinda goofy up there. Overall tho If you enjoyed the small one, the big one flies just as well if not better considering the "in wind" control. Note: There is a .1mm skin on the bottom of the model for anyone having adhesion problems around all the holes and such, make for a smooth first layer to build from and is easy to remove. The only way to get this to show up in the slice is to set first layer to .1mm otherwise it will slice normally. I used 2 walls, and 30% grid infill, with pre foamed LW-PLA from polymaker (not necessary)
