Dry Box

Dry Box

thingiverse

This is a dry box for filaments put on my printer enclosure with temperature/humidity sensor. I tried to install a heater, but it did not improve the humidity. The humidity is from 18% to 20% with only the silica gel beads. I originally bought a different humidity sensor, but the minimum was 20%, so I bought this one, the measuring range is 10%-99%RH. I used to store my spools in Ziploc bags, but I can now store my spools in the box and remove the glass tube and pull whichever the filament that I want to use for my print. My filaments are from eSUN and the width is 2.5 in. The pitch of the base is 2.5 in, so it your spool is narrower/wider, you need to adjust. I bought STERILITE Latching Storage Box from Home Depot, but it has been out of stock and I can't find it from Amazon either. This is the spool holder I used. TUSH - The Ultimate Spool Holder https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047554 I used Double-Face tapes to mount the spool holder to the base and to the bin box. Also you need 2X T-bolt (M4) to mount the bulkhead fitting holder. +++ Update on 5/29 x4 sharing bearing bases did not work well, so I converted into x3 configuration. I bought plugs from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077R2MLV2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 When you start https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFGazRKF5EQ When you finish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMNWOGB1TxU
