Dry_Box_Feedthru_A_Threaded
thingiverse
I designed a customized version of the port with integrated threads to accommodate these connectors. The thread model was created using Thingiverse's https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193647 resource, which I've also attached in case someone finds it useful. After reviewing my previous threaded projects, I believe these are the precise settings I used this time around. Although I've been experimenting with various threaded objects lately and could have been more diligent about organizing my file names: head_type = hex nut_type = normal drive_type = socket slot_depth = 2 head_height = 5 thread_length = 15 inner_diameter = 8 outer_diameter = 14 head_diameter = 12 countersink = 2 non_thread_length = 0 texture = exclude drive_diameter = 5 facets = 6 nut_diameter = 12 socket_facets = 6 wing_ratio = 1 nut_thread_step = 2 thickness = 2 nut_step_shape_degrees = 45 socket_depth = 3.5 thread_step = .9 non_thread_diameter = 0 thread_outer_diameter = 10.5 nut_height = 6 type = rod resolution = 0.5 slot_width = 1 nut_thread_outer_diameter = 9 step_shape_degrees = 45 Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Dual Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 20%
